Ingredients

  • 3 cups plain yoghurt
  • 3 small cucumbers, finely chopped <em>(avoid the large seeded cucumbers)</em>
  • 1 small onions, finely chopped <em>(better with sweet red onions)</em>
  • 3 red radishes
  • 10 walnuts, finely crushed
  • ¾ cup seedless raisins
  • 10 leaves fresh basil or mint, or both, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon dried mint leaves, crushed

Recipe Instructions

  • Whisk the yoghurt until smooth and soft
  • Add all the remaining ingredients to the yoghurt and mix
  • Add one cup of crushed ice
  • Add 2 cups of cold water and mix again
  • Serve with pita bread
